Donati weight-sensitive synchro mechanism
Model 11 uses an Italian Donati weight-sensitive synchro mechanism, the moving core of the chair. It controls recline, locking positions, seat height, seat-depth adjustment, and how naturally the chair responds when you lean back.
Unlike a basic recline system that often needs manual tension adjustment, the Donati weight-sensitive mechanism responds to the user’s body weight. This helps the recline feel smoother, more balanced, and more controlled during long work sessions.
The synchro action links the backrest and seat pan, so both move in a coordinated way when you recline. This helps the chair support different working postures instead of keeping your body fixed in one rigid position.
