Warranty
At Pelicanwork, we believe in creating high-quality chairs that stand the test of time. Our warranty provides six (6) years of protection on new products purchased directly from Pelicanwork, except in certain instances as indicated in our full policy. All warranty periods begin from the date of delivery.
What Our 5-Year Warranty Covers:
- Manufacturing defects
- Failures or breakages that render part or all of your product non-functional
Note: All accessories (products that are not chairs or height-adjustable desks) comes with 1-year warranty; All Pelicanwork chairs and Tables are covered under 5-year warranty under below mentioned conditions.
What’s not covered by the warranty:
- Variations in finish and color of the surfaces, including but not limited to, the color change caused by direct exposure to light/sunlight, temperature variation at your surface or aging;
- Discoloration of materials caused by stains, soiling, inks, or dyes;
- Damage caused by any non-standard work activities;
- Damage caused by writing instruments or sharp objects;
- Damage resulting from an abusive usage of the product;
- Failure resulting from normal wear and tear;
- Textile pilling;
- Natural wood grain variations;
- Damage caused by loading furniture above its weight capacity;
- Damage caused by improper installation;
- Items that have been exposed to non-prescribed environments (e.g. warehouse or outdoor exposure).
- All conditions resulting from the use of a cleaning chemical (alcohol, detergent, etc.) that damages the finish.
- Solid wood parts are meant change overtime and are not covered under this warranty.
Lastly, we want you to enjoy your Pelicanwork products to the fullest, but it's important to use them within their intended capabilities. Using a product beyond its normal purpose can lead to damage that is not covered by our warranty. For example, a sofa is designed for sitting, working, relaxing, and enjoying, but it is not meant to withstand activities like jumping or roughhousing.
To ensure the longevity of your Pelicanwork product and to avoid potential damage, please use it according to its intended purpose. Submitting a Warranty Claim To initiate a warranty claim, simply email us at info@pelicanwork.com with your order number and an explanation of the situation.
Our Promise - 5-Year Pelicanwork Limited Warranty We design our products to be serviceable, which means that if any part of your Pelicanwork product becomes non-functioning or defective, we will repair or replace it with a fully-functioning item in the same or better condition.
Please note that the warranty does not cover cosmetic wear that does not affect the safety or function of your product. A little scratch or nick here and there adds character to your furniture, and we encourage you to embrace it. However, if something breaks due to a manufacturer defect or during normal use, rest assured that we're here to support you.
We are also committed to sustainability and may issue warranty replacements from our stock of open-box, gently used, or refurbished items whenever possible. These replacements come with the same lifetime guarantee as your original purchase.
Note: The standard warranty does not apply to paint, apparel, and finishing. While we guarantee apparel, coating, and finishing against manufacturing defects, they are not guaranteed for a lifetime of use.
Eligibility for Warranty To be eligible for the Pelicanwork Chairs Limited Warranty:
- You must be the original purchaser and provide a valid proof of purchase. The warranty is not transferable to subsequent purchasers.
- You must have purchased the Chair from Pelicanwork.com and be located in India.
- Your written warranty request must be received within 6 years from the date of purchase.
- The chair must have been installed and used only in accordance with the specifications provided with the product or on our website.
- The product must have been used under typical conditions and must never have been subjected to abuse, accidental damage, or other abnormal usage.
Limitations Items listed in our furniture category are guaranteed against defects but are excluded from our standard lifetime warranty, as indicated in the footnote above. Our warranty primarily covers defects or failures that affect the core functionality of our products.
Beyond these limitations, we believe in providing exceptional customer service and will work diligently to support you. We kindly request that our customers use our products responsibly and refrain from misuse, neglect, or intentional destruction. We reserve the right to deny warranty claims for products that have been abused or used outside their intended purpose. Additionally, please note that our warranty policy may be subject to change in the future.
